Are love contracts required??

Love contracts are gaining more and more popularity. People see it as a resource to lessen the liability of the organisation in case the romantic relationship of the employees comes to an end. But I doubt whether such contracts are actually required in the first place. I feel so for the simple reason that I think employees are sensible enough to keep their personal relationship separate from their professional ones. Such relations do not affect the organisation negatively. People who have just started dating might not want to make their relationship public. So they will not indulge into any activities which will reveal their relation. So in such a case when they do not only reveal their relation it can cause no harm to the organisation as it will not hamper their performance. In cases where people are more serious about their relation, they will themselves not want to do any such activity which will affect any of them. In such cases instead of making love contract, the organisations should actually have a reward for people who are together as it will serve as an incentive to spend more time in the organisation. Also such people will be committed to the organisation for comparatively a longer period as they will not leave the organisation for being with each other. Hence I think that love contracts are not required as they do not serve any useful purpose.
